My sudden road trip from Sandiego to Seattle

My road trip on I-5 


Our plane got cancelled. So, we drove on I-5. Interstate I-5 goes from Blaine, WA to San Diego. CA. We drove from San diego to Snoqualmie. It was 1200miles. It took 2 days to reach home. We left on Monday at 5 pm and stopped at Burbank near LA. It was 125 miles from san diego. We saw orange county, legoland exit on the way. We drove almost thr complete stretch of I5. 


Next day we drove 776 miles from Burbank to Roseburg, OR. We passed Bakersfield and stopped for lunch at exit 367. Later we passed Tracy, Stockton, Sacramento and other cities in CA. We stopped for dinner in Redding, CA. We also drove by Mount Shasta in CA.. It is one of the cascade ranges and also an active volcano. We crossed the exit 798 and entered Oregon state. I saw “Welcome to Oregon” sign. We stopped at Roseburg, OR.


 Next day we drove 370 miles to reach home. It took 6 hours to drive back. We crossed Eugene, Salem , Portland and other cities in Oregon. We crossed Oregon state and entered Washington state. I saw “Entering Washington state” sign.


During the 2 days road trip, we crossed 3 states and crossed the state capitals – Sacramento, Salem and Olympia on i-5. I was so happy to see all the state capitals and welcome signs. I also enjoyed seeing all the road signs ,exit # and city names.

Interesting fact 
Did you know that I-5 becomes 99 in Canada at border near surrey? British Columbia highway 99 is also called sky to sea highway near Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton,  BC. It is 234 miles. It then joins 97.

  INTRESTING FACTS IN MATH This is details about all interesting facts I learn in Math.  Hilbert infinite hotel paradox.  Today I will discuss the Hilbert infinite hotel paradox.  Imagine a hotel with infinite rooms. And now infinite guests are already in each room. So now the problem is we have new infinite guests coming to check-in the hotel. How do we solve the problem where new guests also have rooms to stay?  Let's assume that all the rooms are similar in size and each guest is a single guest.  Now , we can solve by , putting each guest in 2*n where n is the hotel room number.  So lets say guest A is in room # 1, he will go to room #2, guest from room # 2 will go to 4, guest from #3 will go to 6, so on and so forth. 49th parallel (Oregon Treaty of 1846)

 Oregon Treaty The Oregon treaty was signed to settle the long standing dispute between the US and British(now Canada). This treaty resolved the western border between the United States and British Canada Oregon Country Before the treaty was signed, Oregon Country was jointly owned by Britain and US. Oregon Country later became part of current Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana and Wyoming. It was signed by President James Polk and John Tyler on July 16th 1846. Below is the map of the Oregon Country.
